The gigs of the autumn tour of IL Moro are not finished yet. This week will spend Thursday night on a ferryboat to Sardinia, ready to face the gig on Friday night 7th Nov. in Sassari at the Tumbao and the one on Saturday night the 8th Nov. at the glorious Sleepwalkers in Guspini (Cagliari). Unfortunately we already knew that some of our good friends from the Mirto land who are hanging round the Peninsula obviously will be not there, so we pretty much hope that the rest of the local freaks will be anyway in the mood to come and celebrate with us these 2 psychedelic shows. While everyone around us has been asking each other if the first video of IL MORO will be lucky enough to get shown on TV, here at The Matteite Records nest we're working like animals on gigantic as well as mini new releases in addition to rehearsing and playing Autumn gigs! In fact, with Winter at the door, Die Lit finally decided to go on standby regarding live shows for a while. Beyond the crazy adventures of IL MORO and DEJLIGT at the National Radio Program Stereo Notte last Friday night (September 27th), we forgot to tell u that also, in the same weekend we stayed in the Italian Capital to do the first IL MORO E QUASI BIONDO video clip! The song is the magical "Possono Essere Baciate" (They Can Be Kissed) and was directed by the sweet and the generousDan (Daniele Babbo). We found a great location at Via del Pigneto (Roma), and beginning at 5 in the afternoon filmed one long take, no cuts at all! Well.....at the end of it all, we definitely walked up and down that wild street for what felt like days. ...I will catch u next week to officially show u the video, credits and technical details. Of course, let me not forget to say sgrassie Dan!

It seems that the name Barbara for us has become extremely lucky! Barbara Santi is our special press office and Barbara Tomasino is the really kind journalist who, on this coming Saturday night, the 27th of September, will run this national radio program in Rome called Stereo Notte on RAI Radio1, and give the unique and awesome chance to DEJLIGT as well as IL MORO E IL QUASI BIONDO to play a live concert of a few of our songs. Our time slot is between 2 and 3 in the morning. Super mega thanks from Matteite!!

Well, well well! The trio of The Dark One, The Almost and The Blond was hired last week to work at the Parco Junior (Entertainment Center) where they let kids jump on trampolines and elastic nets and crash each into other with little Formula 1 Cars - whew! Following that, we now have an obligatory "relaxing" and "healthy" gig in our Legion ! U are all totally welcome to join us this Thursday the 25th September at the Osteria al Rustico in Provolone (San Vito al Tagliamento). Our set is starting quite early 'cause we have to stop making noise with our instruments at 11.30PM sharp... then a new set will begin with the sounds from our stomachs...Maxi kisses with the tongue for those who wait!!

OK! Tomorrow, on Saturday September 20th, DEJLIGT has been invited to do a kind of private showcase (behind closed doors, no audience) at the Atra Acoustic Studio in Pordenone. The space is managed by our good friend (also ex-Dejligt drummer) Federico AKA "Pitch" and his colleague, the crazy piano player Luca Opera! They will film and recording this DEJLIGT set during which we will perform 5 sweet and chilled out super hits...Ninna nanna a tutti...Spiderman

OK- Here we are again! After the awesome and also challenging adventures last week with the sweet Carolyn AKA Honeychild, the small but tight crew of Matteite will be quite busy live with the other 2 crazy projects of DEJLIGT and IL MORO E IL QUASI BIONDO. The fake Danish freaks are not only celebrating their 84th and 85th gigs of the Feed the Dog Tour, and sharing the stage with friends Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, sick tamburo , il moro e il quasi biondo, and teatro degli orrori, but they will also premiere new stuff from their next CD in Italian which it will be out with the first frost via Tempesta/Matteite Records and under the new name of Vimini...Yep, u got it.... after these next 2 gigs Dejligt will take a break to give give Vimini a chance to grow up, too! This special recreational show will happen August 29th at the Cimolais Summer end Festivals and the next day as well - August 30th, at the crazy Shagoo Shagoo. Super thanks to Max and il LUPO!

Aaah, class.... this is such an awesome period for our little humble reality and label, Matteite records! After the amazing and brilliant performance of IL MORO E IL QUASI BIONDO at the Here I Stay Records Festival in Sardinia, we have a great new surprise: The booking agency Baraonda (in association with the crew of La Stanza) booked a gig for our sweet sista from New York, Carolyn "Honeychild" Coleman on August 14th, in Montignano (Ancona) ! The debut album of this crazy creature ,which was mixed and produced by our newlywed super hero Max Stirner(Matteite Records/Infecta Suoni e Affini/Venus), will be in all the best stores around the Peninsula in November 2008. The second set of freaks who've decided to enjoy the Matteite Records team called IL MORO E IL QUASI BIONDO are amidst their lonely (Dejligt are off for the Summer) live adventure: In fact, these guys have been invited to play a show on July 25th as the opning act for the prestigious indie festival "Here I Stay in Guspini" (Cagliari). While the first good press feedback on their first album "questa è una parentesi :) " (Matteite/Venus 2008) is daily knocking on our doors (Thanks to the special job of our press office Barbara Santi - woo hoo! ) and we're waiting until mid- August to see IODA upload the same CD on iTunes, it seems these guys from Codroipo (UD) have almost completed their own remix of "Feed the Dog" for their classmate DEJLIGT. Another secret bird told me also that the crew are also gearing up (in the middle of their aliens schedule) to start working on a video clip. Keep your eyes peeled.......
